You can say that...I'm trying to have my members not only watch media online but the choice to buy it (download). If they want to buy it, the link for the item will not be visible (media link in the s2m protected folder) only the link (buy button) to the item....Because they are members of the site, the process of charging their credit card will be quite and transparent since we have PayPal Pro. Once approved, then it will show the popup window to start the download process. :) Not sure if Jason want to add something like this to s2m pro.

The whole idea is making members happy with the least headaches..people tend to be lazy when they see more than one link to something they might want to buy

Sam

We stand with this now:
You have to create a specific page/post for every single item you want to sell with a buy button

Now
For example, I have a flv file I want to sell online and it's nested in the s2m folder. To sell that item, i have to create a page/post and manually enter the specs of that specific item. So for that item to be downloaded they have to land back on to that specific page that holds the code.

How about not having to create a page/post and sell that item by entering a specific code. For example:

Let's say I have a page that lists 3 flv files that i want to sell (digital downloads), they click on file number 1 buy button, once payment approved PayPal directs them back to the site but instead of serving a page/post with the code it will serve them the file directly.

The whole idea is the option to not create page/paost for downloaded items especially if you have thousands of items..That's thousands of pages/posts on top the actual movie post.

I know I'm talking gibberish cris.....long day

Thanks

Sam

Would it be possible to create a PRO code for BUY only item without creating a page or a post from the protected download area? I looked at some codes especially at the Pro Form Generator For Specific Post/Page Forms but with no luck. I played with PayPal code but all I can see now is white small dots on my screen

The link would be something like the download item restriction http://www.site/?s2member_file_download ... e-file.zip directly embedded to the Pro code

Thanks

Sam
