Do you know of redirect plugins that work well with s2?

The Membership Options Page is the page where a user will be taken when trying to open a page/post restricted by s2Member that he doesn't have enough access for.

The Membership Options Page content can remain the same, with whatever you put in it, which can include the s2Member Pro pro-form, or it can be a link to the pro-form in another page.

Does that help?

or is my membership options page my register.checkout page?

Also how do I stop users from getting to wp-login.php action=register?

Thanks
Simon

You Membership Options Page would not change, the workflow would not change by installing Pro, but you'll be able to change it yourself using the things s2Member Pro adds, if you want to.

Does that help?

My intent is not to have any free accounts, so a user would either login (account already created to get acccess) or register/checkout (to get access).

Thanks again
Simon

Thanks for your quick and thoughtful replies

p.s. an "automagically" plugin would sure be good! ;-)

Now, if you want to use buttons instead, like the Authorize.Net Simple Checkout seems to do, then you won't be able to do registration and payment in a single step. You may be able to have the person pay first and then register, as with the other gateway integrations s2Member Pro has.

s2Member doesn't integrate with Simple Checkout yet, and I don't know other people who used it, but you can read these threads and see if it helps with the integration:

I don't want to get tied up with PCI-DSS and the overhead and cost of capturing credit card details on my site.
and would prefer it to pass the user to Authorize.net server for the payment details capture.

works the same as Authorize.net simple checkout, not using AIM/ARB

Thanks
Simon

Yes, with s2Member Pro you can let someone register and checkout at the same time using the pro-forms, which are avaialble for PayPal Pro as well as Authorize.Net. Here's an example https://www.s2member.com/single-site-license/

I hope that helps.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=173

I see the functionality is built into s2Pro, but the marketing talk is clouding the details somewhat.

Does the registration and checkout work with Authorize.net (blurb only talks of paypal pro)?
Does the Pro version capture the users Credit card details on a form on my site, or does it pass the user to the providers (authorize.net) secure server and then pass back.

Thanks
Simon
