I've had open registrion OFF. I did buy idevaffiate through your link and have them install it Friday. Also publicized my site more.
Wondering if I got hacked and how I can put a stop to it.
UPDATE: Mine is not exactly a s2member issue. It looks like spammers are subscribing via my bbpress forum. Need to figure out how to put a stop to that.
Thanks!

It sounds to me like you were logged-in as an Administrator when you tested the Registration link? If so, please be sure to logout of your site before testing. The Registration Form ( and links to the Registration Form ) are ALWAYS available to Administrators, regardless of your configuration. It's not until you are logged out that you begin to see how things are going to function in the public.

I have tried unsuccessfully to turn off open-registration on my site. I am wondering if it is anything I've done wrong? I have gone to General Options>OPen Registration and left it as "No (do not allow open registration)."
However when I go to the login page, I still see the option for registration.

What's worst, the pages which are limited to Level 1 Paid-Members are visible by members who signed up using open registration.

I've spent the whole day trying to figure it out. Would appreciate any help!
Thanks so much!

Cheers
J
