It is in the "s2member-files" folder on your server...at least it is in mine.

Maybe that's the problem I'm having I have the files in the "access-s2member-level1"...I try moving them up one level and see what happens. ;)

I thought you had to put the files in the "s2member-files" folder for it to work........... But I haven't looked at the download stuff extensively yet.

Any help greatly appreciated! :)

I have my membership site set up and have a couple of products available for level1 members.
I have a test member (me)- signed up thru Paypal - I reduced the price substantially for this member (like 1/10th the normal cost). The member (I) navigated thru the process and everything went fine until I tried to download a product. The Download simply downloads the 404 error page content ("404: Sorry, file not found. Please contact Support for assistance.").

I was signed in as the paid member - I actually signed myself up with another payapl account that I have.

I have watched the videos and searched the forum, but can't find an answer. The version of my s2member script is 3.2.9

Here is the download link structures I'm using and the error messages I'm getting.

http://mymembershipsite.com/?s2member_f ... oduct.7zip

404: Sorry, file not found. Please contact Support for assistance."

Both get the 404 error.

this is where the files are on my server:

wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/access-s2member-level1

I have also tried using the above in my link but the I get a 503 access forbidden.

Thanks for any help - I don't have any hair to pull out so this is my only hope! 8-)
