Applicable Membership Levels: *

Please use comma-delimited Level #'s: 0,1,2,3,4 or type: all.
This allows you to enable this field - only at specific Membership Levels.

You can set up 4 different member levels, like this (just as an example):

0 = free subscriber
1 = bronze member
2 = silver member
3 = gold member

... You can create custom registration fields and then have them to apply to all 4 (by typing "all" in the Applicable Membership Levels field), or you can, say, have a custom reg field apply to only to levels 1,2,3 or to just level 1, etc.

If someone's member level is other than what you specify for a given field, then that member should not even see that field as an option.

Can someone explane for me what the setting "Applicable Membership Levels: *" under Custom Fields means. When you create a new field you can choose:

Applicable Membership Levels: *

Please use comma-delimited Level #'s: 0,1,2,3,4 or type: all.
This allows you to enable this field - only at specific Membership Levels.

Thanks,
