I added a different page named Membership Welcome Page and set it as the Login Welcome Page (the old page was just named Welcome ).

It works now... deleted the original.

Sorry for any trouble.

I saw the video after I posted this question.

The login form I was using is the standard login from wordpress with the S2 logo. It redirects to the admin page.

I installed sidebar-login. I found this in a forum post on this site.

sidebar-login also has a redirect. however, this can be configured.

I configured it to redirect to the welcome page. this does not work, it goes to the current page which is the default action.

I have now set it to the home page. I did the same for the redirect upon logout. Somewhat of a work around.

Something else... when I'm logged in as admin and attempt to view the welcome page from the list of pages, I get the page not found on this site message... that I need to ftp the page to the site.

Best,

I've configured S2 per the videos.

I created two test members - 1 level 0 - 1 level 1

When I try to log in I with either of these test members I get either a page with a message saying that I do not have access or a page saying the site is not configured correctly - the page does not exist (not my sites 404).

However, I can access the site and the member is signed in correctly - the restrictions I tested work.

Basically, at login for the test members the system is not recognizing the welcome page.

I've gone through the configuration at least 4 times. I have a welcome page and an member options page set up per the instructions.

Any ideas?

the site is jarthurbuther.com

the test member names and passwords are... level0 test - level1 test

Thanks in advance for your help.
