If you don't need the s2Member Pro features or the support related to the blog farm, you can try using the free s2Member plugin, which has the multisite functionality sans the Pro features. Try it and see if you can work with just that.

I hope that helps. :)

I am investigating options for allowing clients to buy site signups on a WP Network. I have a WP network where I build and plan on allowing clients to build their own small sites. These sites are for v small businesses who only need a "brochure type" website of a few pages and a contact form etc.

I have no interest (at the moment) in offering clients facilities such as membership plug ins. However, I do need a solution to be able to get clients to pay and sign up for their own sites.

Looking at your site you refer to this set up as a blog farm and offer a support package costing $629. However, it seems to include a license to use S2Member on unlimited sites.

I don't want to use it for unlimited sites I only want to use it on my main domain so clients can signup and purchase the facility to build their own site as part of the membership package. The individual sites would not have the option of installing the S2member plugin.

Is it really necessary to but this package at $629 to be able to use it in this situation?

Many thanks

Chris
