You can get PayPal's Enhanced Recurring Payments if you want to use PayPal Standard let users subscribe without requiring they have a PayPal account.

PayPal has to have an account for the user if there are recurring payments.

Hi, new user here, with a question. I've got s2member free version going on my website, works nicely. I'm trying to get the membership payment portion set up. When testing the online payment, I noticed that a new member must have a Paypal account. Does s2member support credit card payments to a Paypal account via Paypal's Website Payments Standard? Or is an upgrade to s2member pro needed to have this functionality? Thanks,
