As far as allowing members to add/remove products, the back-end interface isn't difficult, but if I allowed my members to add products (I don't), I would want to keep them on the front-end. For that I would use Gravity Forms with the Custom-Post-Type add-on.
The cons to eShop:
-- I have concerns about the impact to site performance - will deal with that shortly
-- It is a little troublesome to customize the store display - I've created a custom post type for "store product" to work around this.
Also considered:
-- just using Gravity Forms with the PayPal addon -- it was a little basic for my needs
-- wp-ecommerce -- I haven't completely eliminated it as an option, but it feels like overkill.Statistics: Posted by damron — September 13th, 2011, 1:24 pm
