I see what you're trying to do. Actually, you can have people register free at different levels using the Free Registration Pro-Form that comes with the s2Member Pro add-on. WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro-Forms -> Free Registration

Now, since you would be giving paid content to those members, you may want to just let them register normally at Level 0, and then upgrade them manually from their profile to a higher level or add Custom Capabilities to view the paid content. WP Admin -> Users -> All -> Edit user -> Role

If you want to make it easier to find their payment before upgrading their accounts, you could create a custom registration field where they have to enter the payment invoice number or something else that'll let you verify the payment easily. WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Custom Registration -> Add New Field

I hope this helps. :)

Here is my issue, I want to use a payment solution called WSO (you may have heard of it).

It appears that there's some issue with the 3rd party app passing the IPN paypal info without some custom coding so this is what I want to know:

Is there a way to set up 2 "free to signup/open membership levels.

Only the link that people will be directed to will be depend on what they were paid.

Do it would look like this

"1st level"

"premium level"

Now in reality the problem I'm trying to get around is the fact that I can't pass the payment info to s2member under my current situation. So, I'm just sending people to the sign up page after the purchase. But if someone buys "premium level" they should have access to one set of content (read 1 sign up link), and if they buy "1st level" another level of content.

This is the only way I can think of a "workaround". As I understand it, only payment lets s2member determine what content people get access to....

Short of setting up 2 sites (one for free 1st level) and one for (free "premium level"), I can't think of any ideas.

Also please note, I am using free or open registration because as I understand it, a person won't be able to sign up for the premium level content unless they pay through the normal way s2member has in place..

I hope this make sense! Very much looking forward to the response....
