I will have another look at the options and see how it goes.

Thank you for sparing your time to help me out.

What you want is no problem.

The way s2 works or can work is every thing is public except what you specifically designate as only accessible to members with a specific access level.
So lets say you have a page named game-deals-3
You can set the access to that page for s2Level-2. That would mean that anyone who tries to go to that page, if they can see the link or accidently come across it, will be redirected to a page explaining what they need to do to gain access to that "premium page"
And those who already have the correct access level will simply be able to go there.

You can simply put a login link, with redirection if preferred, somewhere, for example just under the "Join Now" link.
When they click that link they will be sent to your customized default login screen and once logged in they will have access to that closed content.
And you can manage the links either by having them on a separate menu, on a page only accessible to those with he right access, etc.

If you want for example a login widget, s2 pro has one.

Does that help?

My site is here www.gamedealsuk.co.uk

I want everyone to access the site and see the free content, I really want to add a logon box or page to the site for my premium members to use so they can access the content, I dont want everyone to have to register to view.

Does that make sense?

Actually, they use the same login as you http://your-address.com/wp-login.php?
Once they are logged in they will have access to whatever pages/posts/etc you have set to whichever s2 level they have.

If you use the s2 pro version you can indeed do some other login things but the standad version allows you to quite nicely cutomize the default login screen with your logo, etc...

Once the user has been through the payment and registration process and they come back another day to log in.....where do they log in to? The rest of my site is free and requires no log in to view.

Can I add the log on page to a specific page with a shortcode for example?

Really confused over this, and surely it should be so simple?!!!
