I'm an experienced web designer / developer that is customizing a wordpress based site that is using a purchased theme (not from primo themes).

One of the client's requirements for their site is a client portal, which is what led me to this site (I found a link to your video explaining how to use s2member as a client portal). I followed the directions of your video, as well as thoroughly read the instructions in your quick start guide, and set up a page called "client" that is to be used as the client portal (the "membership options page"). This page has the wordpress login form on it. But I'm having this problem:

1) any time a non-logged in user visits the home page, or clicks on a link that directs to the home page, they are automatically redirected to the URL designated as the membership options page with the URL being:

example.com/client/?s2member_seeking=ruri-Lw%3D%3D&s2member_level_req=0

I've gone through and checked to see if there are any post / page restrictions (there are none), and have even checked to see if any custom redirect rules were written to the site's htaccess file, which seems unaffected. I've also disabled all plugins except the s2member plugin, but the problem only ceases after disabling the s2member plugin itself.

I'm going to continue tweaking files from the template and will post if I figure out the problem, but hopefully someone here has a quick suggestion, as I've been unable to figure things out up to this point, and have even gone as far as harcoding any URL's to the homepage into the template (instead of using the wordpress get_blog_info functions and whatnot).

Thanks in advance!
A
