If there is a possibility of a security breach then would it be possible to use your profile form on its on dashboard page similar to the WP profile page?
No, there is no security issue with this. It's just NOT what site owners would usually want, since the back-end panel is not themed to match your site. This is why s2Member makes the [s2Member-Profile /] Shortcode available. You can learn more about this inside your Dashboard, under:
s2Member -> General Options -> Profile Modifications.

Current versions of s2Member do not come pre-integrated with any CRMs. However, your welcome to connect s2Member to other applications using s2Member's API Notifications. If you just need to communicate with your customers via email, I recommend MailChimp, which s2Member is integrated with. For further details on this, please check your Dashboard here: s2Member -> API / List Servers.

I guess what Jason was refering to was the look of the profiles pages, they're definitely back-end in their default form, not front-end when they don't even use the website's theme.

Two questions for you, the first regarding the Members Profile page.
You wrote:

Unless you've made some drastic modifications to your WordPress® installation, the default Profile Editing Panel that ships with WordPress®, is NOT really suited for public access, even by a Member.

Is this due to the large amount of data presented to the user, or possibly the lack (for the want of a better word) of vetting on posted / submitted data? :o

If there is a possibility of a security breach then would it be possible to use your profile form on its on dashboard page similar to the WP profile page?

And the final question, could you comfortably recommend a crm package that will work in harmony with S2member. I would initially like something that will send out (email) invoices a few days prior to payment taken and then any other feature that will be of benefit as my site develops (if you cannot recommend one maybe Primo Themes can consider creating one. I would be happy to be your first customer :D ).

Many thanks
