In the meantime, I looked at the code to help you. This is the function viewtopic.php?f=40&t=13016&src_doc_v=111105#src_doc_line_42

You could use the hook ws_plugin__s2member_during_ip_restrictions_ok_no and edit the $msg_503 var. It'll still return 503 headers, but you could customize the message with that.

I hope that helps. :)

503: Service Temporarily Unavailable
Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!
Please contact Support if you need assistance.

I am pretty much over receiving emails from members asking, "is the site down?" because they have tripped the security measures and received this message.

It is time consuming and something I dont feel I should really be having to do because members initially can't make sense of this wording.

Please change the message!! Anything that actually describes what has happened and why, and with information about when they will be able to log back in would be great

Alternately, please add a field in S2M so that it can be customised.

If there are no plans to change this wording on future releases (or if this is deemed not a useful feature request) please advise how I can change it myself, manually, and also protect it from being reset by future updates

thankyou
