You need to put the information so that s2Member can, behind the scenes, process the payments that your customers do.

I downloaded S2Member plugin yesterday and am beginning to get it set up. I have looked at the video about setting up the Paypal info in S2Member and this is different from the current version - hence my query.

The current version of S2Member asks for the following information in the Paypal Options section:
Paypal email address
Paypal API username
Paypal API password
Paypal API signature

I feel uncertain about providing all of this information - username and password and signature in one place outside of Paypal.

Is all this information absolutely required in order to accept payments via S2Member?

How secure is the information being held here?
