That said, you probably have too many plugins or one of the plugins is causing a conflict that makes s2member-o.php load slower. Could you, as a test, try deactivating other plugins one by one and see if speed improves after each? Remember to deactivate the cache so you get actual results. You may also want to try this with the theme, changing to the the default one as a test.

I hope that helps. :)

I am already using WP Super Cache on my site and Yes, the site is loading much faster for the 2, 3, 4 pages after the initial one.

The problem is thatcustomers get to my site and the first page they see takes too long to load and they exit. This is unecesarry, because I have no s2member validations on the first page, we could make s2member load in the footer.

I need a way of having that first landing page that is loaded display the Page content first, and then load s2member-o.php.

Is there a way of achieving this?

It might be a little slow to load the first time (as usual), but the following times will be much faster.

Tell me if this helps.

Delay is making us have a higher bounce rate (page is blank while loading).

I can understand that s2member needs to load first to validate access, but I am not doing validation on my main landing page and want to tell wordpress to load it last on this page.

Question:
How can I make s2member-o.php load AFTER my page has loaded (e.g. in the footer)? I want to do this only for my landing page. Subsecuent pages would be fine loading it in the header, and probably performance won't be affected given the plugin files will already be cached in the browser.

I took a look at http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10270 but that thread didn't address this question (although it's mentioned in the first comment).

Thanks!
Angie
