The only suggestion I can make is to disable custom passwords (WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Registration/Profile Fields & Options -> Allow Custom Passwords during Registration = No), which would cause the password to be emailed to the user, thereby requiring them to check their email, get the password, and then login.

This wouldn't prevent anyone from using multiple email accounts to create free accounts, but it would certainly make it more time consuming.

I don't believe there's anything s2Member can do to prevent that, but I'm checking with another support rep to make sure. I'll update you when I have more info.

Thank you for your patience.

We're about to test out free signups and offer our free members limited access (1 download per 60 days per free member)

Is there a way to prevent a user from signing up 100 times to get around this limitation without paying?

All I had to do was enter a username/email/pass and log in with no email verification.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you!
