As a plugin conflict test, could you deactivate other plugins one by one and test after each? See if the download is fixed after one of them.

A user recently reported to me that they were unable to download audio files from our site that they were authorized to access. I followed up by attempting to download a number of the same secure files using various browsers. Each browser I tested with displays the confirmation dialog, but only Opera actually initiated and completed the download.

I tested using browsers on Mac and PC: IE (PC only), Firefox, Safari, Opera

Any suggestions?
