Eliminate registration link

I am trying to eliminate the registration link when someone accesses the log in page. Or at the very least keep someone from registering. It currently is allowing open registrations even tho I have selected "No open registration". Is there any php code I can use? I would like to eliminate the registration link altogether if I can.
