PLEASE HELP! s2member not working!

I upgraded Wordpress to 3.1 and s2member to 3.5.1 and s2member is not activated, and when I hit activate, I get this error message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

UPDATE: I deleted then reinstalled the plugin and everything seems to be working now.
