I understand that some people also modified this plugin to achieve something similar to what you mention http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members-list/

And there are plans for an s2Member Pro customizable extension to list members publicly, maybe in a month or two.

I have been testing and testing this plugin for couple of weeks now and I have a question. The plugin suits me very well as far as use for a membership site. I want to use this plugin with WordPress to create a membership site that will host resumes and save them in the database and also allow subscribers to update them anytime. After subscribers go through the signup process, can they make their resumes publicly accessible by any chosen or prospective employer to be viewed without the employer having to go through the signup process to view their resume.
