For the first part of your question, remember that the Wordpress Visual editor will strip out code so you need to add the video info via the HTML editor or do something like I do where I put the video code into a custom field and then call it into the visual editor. I use the "Custom Fields Shortcode" plugin for that http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cus ... shortcode/

Correct, you need Vimeo Plus. It's super cheap for what it delivers so pull that trigger and get your customers learning....uhm, Swedish!

I used this code:
Code:
<object width="480" height="290"><param name="src" value="http://speakswedishstupid.com/?s2member_file_download=SSS-DVD1.m4v" /><param name="controller" value="true" /><param name="autoplay" value="false" />
<!-- Code For Older Browsers --><embed width="480" height="290" src="http://speakswedishstupid.com/?s2member_file_download=SSS-DVD1.m4v" controller="true" autoplay="false"></embed></object>

Is this incorrect?

Perhaps Vimeo solves the problem, I'll have to check it out, thanks "adriarichards"...

I suppose I need Vimeo Plus for the restricted URL? :?:

And yes, s2Member supports drip content which can display more content the longer someone is a member.

If you already have been able to set up properly the pages protection, then the videos I showed you aren't what you need, although you may learn some new things.

What you need to look at is file download protection. Check out these
WP Admin -> s2Member -> Downloads Options
http://www.s2member.com/file-download-options-video/

I'm not sure it solves what I asked before...
What I mean is that the page is only accessable to members, (Level 1-4) and that works fine.... but if you know the url to the video (not the page) you can watch it even if you're not a member. And I don't want that, but perhaps there's a solution in the videos you gave me.... I'll have to see.

Well, besides the way you'll deliver the content URLs sequentially, you can apply access restrictions to that content. This can be done through Levels (0 for free ones, 1 to 4 for paid), or custom capabilities.

These videos will give you a better understanding of those:
http://www.s2member.com/general-options-overview-video/
http://www.s2member.com/specific-posts-pages-video/
http://www.s2member.com/custom-capabilities-video/

The other videos are also very worth watching if you haven't already.

Does this answer your question?

Hopefully I'll manage to do this!

Not quite sure about how to make the content not in any navigation of the website...
If I create a page it will have an url even if I don't give it away e g by linking to it somehow.

Like this page http://speakswedishstupid.com/your-free-video/
It's not viewable to non-members...
But you can still get the video if you know the url: (not allowed to show it though, but you know what I mean?)
http://speakswedishstupid.com/wp-conten ... fvideo.m4v

Do you mean there's a way around this? So nobody can reach my content unless they are members?

Thanks again!

Yes, you can do this setting up a content drip sequence. You can find some information regarding this here WP Admin -> s2Memberr -> API / Scripting -> s2Member Content Dripping.

The content dripping feature will most probably be improved in the next mayor release of the plugin, but you should be able to create something with what's available at the moment.

That said, I think that delivering the content with an email autoresponder service, is a good way to go. You can use one of the services mentioned in WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / List Servers.

Just make sure that the content you're dripping is not in any navigation of your website, including the sitemap file, or people will be able to find the coming weeks' content before they get the emails linking to them.

Hope that helps. :)

I'm thinking about using s2member to sell a course.

I want my members to get access to more pages after some time....
Is there a way to let them be upgraded automatically?

They buy membership at level 1 and then a few weeks later they're at level 2 and then level 3 and so on...
Without me having to upgrade them manually.

In case it's not possible with s2member; another way of doing this might be by sending newsletters every week with the new info, but I don't know which newsletter service to use... Need to have about 50 newletters ready and then start sending out to the new members, every email a week a part.... but not manually...

Am I making myself understandable? :)

Is this doable? Or is there any other suggestions???

Thanks
/Malin
