You can also test your payments setup in PayPal's Sandbox. That way you'll be sure it's all the way you want it before going live.

WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> PayPal Account Details -> Developer/Sandbox Testing

Yes, you can generate separate buttons for different payment options to get the same level and they won't affect each other.

I'm setting up my first s2 site, and I got to the part about generating the paypal buttons for membership. I have a concern: I would like to offer a choice to prospective members of paying for the annual membership through a monthly payment, or by paying one annual upfront payment (saving them a little money). This will be all for Level 1, so I don't want to do two different levels here, just offer two ways to pay for level 1.

Am I correct in assuming that once I generate the button code for one method, copy and paste it on the registration options page; then I can come back and generate a new button code for the second method? If I do the second method, will it mess up the first method? Or am I reading the instructions right, that the code generator is simply to generate code and I can create as many options as I want?

Thanks for your help, and so far this membership plugin is the BEST I've tried, I think I actually might get launched - woohoo!
