For #3, I disabled all other plugins (only had one enabled to begin with) as well as made Twenty Ten the default theme, and the problem persists. That's in Safari 5.0.4. Since you said that's a bug, I tried Chrome 12.0.712.0 dev and Firefox 4, and neither of them showed the problem. So I'll use another browser when I work with the buttons.

As far as shortcodes go, I was running into issues with using other shortcodes on the same page. Specifically, the woo framework column shortcodes.

Thanks much, I really appreciate it.

1. Is it possible to activate specific plugins based on which membership level a user signs up with?
2. Is it possible to activate specific themes based on which membership level a user signs up with?

Sorry. Not yet.
( we may attempt this in a future release of s2Member Pro )
In the mean time, here are some options worth looking at.

3. When I use the PayPal Buttons panel, when I click the "Generate Button Code" button, the section displaying the verbose code goes blank. Is this a "bug" or a "feature"? I've found the shortcode to be unreliable, so I want to use the full code, but when it goes blank, that doesn't make things easy.

No, that should not be expected. I've seen this happen before. It's usually related to a JavaScript error being introduced by another plugin or theme. Try disabling other plugins until the problem goes away. If you can please report back on which one was causing the conflict, that would be great!

This is similar to "Options Panel Disappearing". I've done a video tutorial showing how to find and correct this bug. I think if you watch this quick video, you can apply the same method to the Button issue you're having. http://www.s2member.com/options-page-di ... ing-video/

* TIP * The Shortcode should be the most reliable, and that is what we recommend, because it's compatible with both the Visual and HTML editors for WordPress.

I do have some questions on if s2Member is the right choice for me, or if it can do some things I'd like it to do.

Overall I'm excited about using s2Member because it seems like you actively maintain it, it offers many features and provide pretty good support for it.

Thanks.
