Solution: network deactivated eMember and eStore. Activated them on a different sub-blog only.

Thank you both for your help. Sorry to have made such a simple mistake.

~ and thanks for bringing this to my attention Cristián.

Logging into WordPress is the same thing as logging into s2Member. They are one in the same.
Can you please clarify what you mean by this exactly?

"it is acknowledging the user is set up in WP, but it is not logged into s2Member".

I see that your interface is a bit confused about whether a User/Member is logged-in, but this is theme-dependent, so it does not give us enough to go on in this case. Please explain just a bit further, including the different domains and/or sub-folders being utilized on your Network.

You may also want to rule this out as a potential problem:

So I add that line to wp-config.php even if I'm not running a Blog Farm? (I don't allow users to create blogs on my network, but I'm using the network capabilities to host a few sites of my own on one installation of WordPress.)

At any rate, I attempted that fix, to no avail.

The registration email seems to be coming from WordPress rather than s2Member. If I use the generated password and link in the email to log in, it offers the wp-login to my WordPress. I get this:WPlogineffect.png

As you can see there, it is acknowledging the user is set up in WP, but it is not logged into s2Member. When I attempt to log in using s2Member, I get the "Wrong username or password." error message.

I know you guys have released a number of upgrades since I last used it in October. Could there be an issue there? I've never had any of these problems with it before.

Again, any help is greatly appreciated.

The most important thing to do when setting up multisite with s2Member, is to add this line to your /wp-config.php file.

Code:
define('MULTISITE_FARM'true);

That will add a default layer of security to all blogs within your network, with respect to s2Member. ;)

You can see more multisite networks information over at WP Admin -> s2Member -> Multisite Config.

If you still can't solve it with the above, please provide more details (and screenshots where applicable) so we can understand better what the problem you're having is.

I'll also ask Jason to check this out to see if he can give you any other tip.

If you'd like full details along with support for multisite networks, please take a look at our Network Support Package, listed toward the bottom of this page http://s2member.com/prices/

When I reactivated s2 (with updates), all the manual test user registrations I've done through the dashboard are not being recognized by s2Member when I attempt to log in to the content site. The link in the confirmation email proceeds to log into the WP login screen rather than S2Member's form.

I have been assigning the role as s2Member Level 1 (rather than a WordPress role).

I'm running WP 3.1 as a Network, running s2 v. 3.5.7 and have s2 set up on one of the sub-blogs (network activated, though I've tried it both ways with the same outcome). I have updated the patches since my core WP update.

In a tight spot because I was planning to open registration tomorrow. Lesson learned about expecting to just flip it back on. Ah well.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
