I look forward to your update to learn how you set it up in the end. ;)

If I had to integrate it, though, I'd get my tracking code and add it to the tracking API of s2Member, which is for signups.

Now, I imagine you have the tracking code in your template too, which will be used in every page. I don't know how the signups one is different.

I know that in Google Analytics you can define goal pages and such, but don't know much about its configuration.

I suggested the Notifications API because they may be closer to what you want, being triggered in more situations.

Sorry, I wasn't of much help with this one.

1. Correctly modify my Google Analytics Tracking Code by adding the _addTrans thru _trackTrans code (lines 8 - 14 in the video) to the GATC on my site:

2. Then add that modified full GATC into the s2member API membership signup tracking field, correct?

3. Then, the net effect is that s2member will act like "GA cross domain" (so to speak) as the visitor goes over to PayPal then returning to my site post-purchase, is that also correct? - in other words, the visitor now returning from PayPal post-purchase will carry the GATC cookie the whole way from their original landing page on my site (as direct, referral, paid, or organic) and track that same visitor as if they never left the site (so to speak) after they come back from PayPal, correct?

4. If that's all correct so far: in Wordpress Plugin Google Analyiticator, I'd add the code as noted in #1 above into the "after tracker initialization" field, correct?

5. The API notifications would not actually be needed, correct?

Thanks!
David

How do I figure out what the goal page is, the page they'll see after signing up? If it's just the member home page, then isn't that the same page that all members see when signing in?-and if so, then setting that as a goal page would not give me the data I want, true? I'm running a test Adwords campaign and driving traffic to my site, it would be nice to set up a goal/funnel to see how effective Adwords is really being for me, or if it's just organic or referral traffic driving sales...

Thanks!
David
