Yes you can. When you are editing a user, you can change the "Role" dropdown to the 1 of 4 different s2Member Levels and click the Save button.

If you use the custom capability features, you can enter the name of the capability near the very bottom of the user edit page using a comma separated list of each custom capability you want to grant to a user.

I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed.

Can we grant a gold/silver/platinum membership to a user directly from wordpress admin page? How to do it? The reason I asked this is that I am the blog owner and I want to give a gold member to my own account without having to go through the Paypal process.
