You could try an integration following the suggestion in that thread you point to.
If you don't know enough to do it, I suggest you ask a developer that can work with the gateway you want (i.e. TD's Online Mart) and tries to make integrate it with s2member. http://jobs.wordpress.net

The account is with TD Bank (http://www.onlinemart.ca/EN/default.asp) in Canada, which uses Beanstream. Is it possible to use TD's Online Mart with S2Member? I looked at this thread (viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3154) but was unclear.
