I'm going to look into all that, but I think unless something drastically changes... I'm just going to forgo a forum right now. Or at least for tonight. Deep fried is a pretty accurate description of my mind right now... LOL!

I appreciate all of your help!

Ah, yes, I'll mention ProxyConnect to Jason and add it to the list of plugins with compatibility problems. Thanks again. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6309

You can watch this video on bbPress http://www.s2member.com/bbpress-bridge- ... ion-video/

BuddyPress documentation... Well, you can certainly search the forums here, it's come up plenty. More on it to come in the almost-here new release of s2Member, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm trying to find documentation on s2member and either bbpress or buddypress... And I guess my brain is fried. Could you point me in the right direction?

First, it will be a minute before I can get you the screenshots. I'm having another error, where if I log OUT of admin, and then attempt to log back IN as admin, it won't let me. I have to move s2member out of the plugins folder, log in, and then move s2member back (all via FTP).

So while those will be a minute, I can assure you fairly confidently that the only access restrictions in place are on pages 1101 (forum) and 1087?? I think, which is the profile. No categories, tags, or posts. I will take screenshots to be sure I'm not missing something though.

It will also be a few minutes before I can run the test purchase and get the shortcode.

I *do* have the same problem if I manually create the account and set it to level 1. Initially, I assumed this was because of a lack of payment data.

I also went through the process using PayPal sandbox, and recreated the issue that way. Because sandbox doesn't allow emails to be actually sent, I had to manually create the user with the sandbox subscription ID - and was still forwarded to the membership options page.

I'm currently attempting to replace my current install with one I'm downloading (the original was installed via the "Add New Plugins" feature of my dashboard. Perhaps there is a corrupt file somewhere?

I know you're in a hurry, and I want to help you fix it soon...

- Could you please show me screenshots of all your access restriction panels in the General Options page?
- Also, could you run another test purchase, with logging enabled, and post the log entry here?
- And would you please post the shortcode for the button you're purchasing with?
- Do you have the same problem if you create an account manually and set it to Level 1?

Anyhow, I have double and even triple checked the user's level - I even set it to level 4. Only Admin permission levels can access the content. That was my assumption as well, as soon as I eliminated plugin and theme incompatibilities.

Unfortunately I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin without deactivation safeguards in place (oops!), so I lost the purchase data. Prior to that, however, I did double check upon purchase that all payment info was present and that the user was set to Level 1, and everything was as it should be - gateway, id and custom value were all set, Role was s2Member Level 1.

I'm stumped...

Let me see, you say the Membership Options Page is /marketing-mom-membership but I'm sent to /mompreneur-success. I guess you changed it since your post above.

Anyway, the pages seem to be protected at the levels you mention, so the restriction is probably properly set. Which leaves me thinking that it's the actual user's account what is not right.

Did you check that the user is actually at the level he's supposed to be after the purchase? You can go to his profile to check. WP Admin -> Users -> username

Could you post the log entries for your test purchases, x'ing out private information? I want to make sure the purchase is going well and there are no errors there.

I have s2member installed at http://crunchybusiness.com

When a user registers for their membership (free trial) on this page : http://crunchybusiness.com/marketing-mom-membership

They go through the registration process once the link is emailed to them. They then attempt to log in.

Users can log in, BUT they are supposed to be seeing http://crunchybusiness.com/member-home, which is set as the login welcome page.

All they can see is http://crunchybusiness.com/marketing-mom-membership - the membership options page.

If they try and click on any content that is supposed to be allowed for their level (all content is level 1 and up, registered user is level 1) - for example, this page http://crunchybusiness.com/member-home/member-forum - they are redirected to http://crunchybusiness.com/marketing-mom-membership - the membership options page.

If they try and click on a page I've created for their profile options (http://crunchybusiness.com/member-home/profile) that has permissions set to level 0 and up - they get back to the membership options page.

I upgraded the test member to level 4, to make sure that wasn't the problem - even at level 4, registered users cannot access any restricted content.

I can access the restricted content with my admin account.

I disabled all plugins. No effect.

I used twentyten theme. No effect.

I completely reset my s2 configuration and ONLY configured the membership options page, login welcome page, and set restrictions on two pages. The user (who actually went through paypal and started the free trial membership, so all payment info is in place) still cannot access any restricted content.

What am I doing wrong??? Help! I'm supposed to launch this Friday or Monday, and I'm at a loss for what to do next...
