The video on creating a portal may give some ideas, although you'd create profile pages instead of Login Welcome ones, and the buttons would use different custom capabilities dynamically depending on the profile to see.

Facing the next challenge ... :-(
Is it possible to use somhow the "buy now" button to allow a user to see other users' profile (otherwise protected)?

Like if I log in and want to see the complete profile of user X, I'll see there a "buy now" button which after payment will grant me access to the required information (the profile information of user X) for let's say 1 year.

All based on s2member + buddypress ....

As there is no page/post to protect in this case, there should be some other way to "trick" that "buy now" button into doing what I wish ...

Thanks a lot!

C.
