I tried a trial registration last night using a made up ebook activation code with dashes. I could register fine. I would really rather have this set up as an array function so I could load the array with the codes I have purchased and then do a comparison to the array at registration with a denial if no matches were found. This would keep out the lookers. I can probably hack this but right now time is precious.

My trial member registration took me to the member-downloads page just fine like it should. This page has the bonus downloads on it but no ebook download. I may have to tweak this page a bit so they could download the ebook trial and then wait until I emailed them an activation code.

This buyer used a different email to register than what he used to buy the book at PayPal and then sent me an email this morning telling me none of my support emails or my Aweber contact form worked. I know for a fact that I have two working emails and my Aweber form works too.

He was going to ask PayPal for refund. But I don't think that will happen since I told him to read his other email address for the download link and code. Plus I sent his upgrade bonus to him this morning. And he indicated he would rather have the book than a refund.

So will probably work out.

As always, Thank You for your prompt responses to my posts.

Also, does it need to be different for each one or can you use a single custom capability to control access to the bonuses? http://www.s2member.com/custom-capabilities-video/

I had a sale today. S2 Member autogened the activation code and not the password as far as I can tell from looking at the subscriber/member information on the dashboard.

I can edit the member and input the correct activation key information but I don't want to have to do that on every subscriber.

My product can be purchased from an embedded shopping cart in the product or off my site. Either way, they buyer gets a standard download of info.

My thoughts were to use the activation key to control access to the member download page. The key is quite long - longer than you have setup options for.

So I am not sure where the activation code came from. It is almost the same as one that I issue. Far too long for a generated password.

Also It appears that S2 did not auto generate a password unless the "ebook activation code" custom field is in fact supposed to be the password.

I got an email that my customer had registered to the site but not his username or password. As adminstrator should I not get this information?
