You seem to need a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-user-defaults/ I just tried it, though, and it's not working, hasn't been updated. Try contacting the developer and see if he'd make it work with the latest WordPress release?

Username instead of actual name

When people sign up I want them to show up with their username. Right now it uses their real name and I have to go into "Users" and switch it.
