It is possible that his computer is somehow using an anonymous IP, thereby "an empty IP address" that would be blocked by the IP Restrictions security measure.

I've reset it to allow infinite IPs, and am waiting for customer response to see if he can get in.

Thnx.

"When trying to login on the dash board I keep getting this message:

503: Service Temporarily Unavailable
Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!
Please contact Support if you require assistance.

I closed my fire fox browser and tried loging in again but still get the same message."

Sounds like it is S2Member related. Any ideas?

Where you able to reproduce your client's problem with IE9? If so, please give us all the details you can, Jason may want to look into this to fix any potential problem.

I'm not certain but I think it might be that he was using IE9. I had him move over to Chrome and all is well...

They receive this error:

503: Service Temporarily Unavailable
Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!
Please contact Support if you require assistance.

S2Member Settings:
Alternative View Protection = Yes
Brute Force = Allow 10 failed login attempts, then punish for 10 minutes.
Unique IP = Allow up to 10 different IPs per Customer (every 30 days). If limit is exceeded = Punish for 1 hour.

In order to get my customer access I temporarily turned off Brute Force protection, and allowed 20 different IPs.

Client says he still can't access the dashboard.

Thanks,
Jeff
