Ah, got it. It sounds like a JavaScript problem. Maybe your theme or another plugin is causing it.

You can try changing to the TwentyTen theme and try the generator, or disable other plugins until the generator works. Doing it systematically you'll be able to find which one specifically is causing the conflict.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I can't get the generator to create a code for the level 1 access which is a monthly membership subscription. I've tried several times but when I press the generate code button nothing happens. I finally had to manually edit the code.

Thanks, Cristian. I appreciate your reply.

The Post/Page restrictions are not level based. They are individual products that anyone can purchase. I deleted & re-entered the pages after updating the plugin today & was finally able to generate buttons, but I still can't get a membership button to generate. I just saved the one I edited in notepad when I first started using the plugin.

If the page/post is protected by a level based restriction, then the Specific Post/Page restriction won't be applied to it. Check what other restriction may be applied to the page you're trying to sell specifically.

Button Code Generator Doesn't Work

Hi,
I have been searching the forum for a couple of weeks but can't find a solution to my issues. They existed when I first downloaded the plugin & the two subsequent updates have not fixed them.

The first issue is when I enter the information on the membership & protected page/content levels the generate code button doesn't work. I got the membership button to work by manually editing the code but my client has so many products & protected items if I had to manually edit every code it would take me weeks to get everything done. Which brings me to my second issue.

Not only does the Button Code Generator For Specific Post/Page Buttons not work, but the pages do not show up in the drop down menu. After spending hours searching the forum, reviewing the tutorial videos, & making sure I was doing things correctly I finally pulled everything & went back to using the original PayPal buttons. Everything works now, but nothing is protected & I don't want to add any new product until I can get the plugin to work.

I am currently using the free plugin but will be purchasing the Pro soon (hopefully this week) to integrate with his PayPal Pro account.

Any ideas as to why it's not working?
