Yes, the Standard (free version) of s2Member doesn't have that limit as to how many sites you can use it in. So you can use the Pro in your live-site and the free version in the tests site and you can still do it. Just don't use the Single-Site license on both.

Hi Eduan,
Just one more final question.
I have multiple domains in my hosting accounts. Only one of them will be a membership site. But if I am testing another membership site I can use the free version of the s2Member plugin for that and use the pro version for my live site and then upgrade to the unlimited domain license right?
I do not need to make this decision right now correct?

Yes, you will only pay the difference.
When you buy your license and log-in to s2Member.com you will see next to your avatar an upgrade button I believe.

If I buy the single site license can I later upgrade to the unlimited site license with the s2Clean Theme package? if so do I pay the difference at that time or do I have to buy all over again?

ok, thanks. Its good to know. Once my first site is live and functioning I will likely purchase the unlimited site license. I am sure I will have other questions but you folks are awesome at responding so I have no concerns about support so far.

You would need an unlimited site license, here's the sales page.

If you want to export settings and such just go to WP Admin -> s2Member -> Import/Export, or you can search for a plugin here.

Hello,
If my objective was to create simple 2 or 3 level membership sites for different niches or products each independent of the other (in other words have multiple stand alone membership sites) what type of license do I need to have?
Do I need the s2Member Pro or do I just install the basic plugin each time ?
Also if I end up flipping the site, how do I transfer the license or does the buyer have to have his or her own license?
