From the Pro Coupon Codes documentation:

s2Member will NEVER allow the Regular Billing Rate ( or Total ) to be less than: $0.01.
If you want to offer something 100% free, please use a Free Registration Form instead.
Either that, or you can offer a Free Trial Period in your Shortcode.

ok...that is kind of what i was thinking...but,
we are selling our membership thru a "groupon" type group sales site...and was concerned that if we just created a new form for free registration there would be nothing to stop the sharing of that form, thus making that form available to anyone whether they had paid the coupon site or not.
any further suggestions?

Hello,
I am currently running a membership site in canada. I am interested in offering certain customers free memberships, and was wondering if it is possible to provide a coupon code that gives a 100% discount. Will this work? Does S2 Member just skip the paypal process?
