For other users: follow the steps described by Raam Dev if you are using GApps to host your email services.

For example, if you use a gmail.com address, you can configure the plugin with the Gmail SMTP server details.

I've installed email-log but I still don't see any logs in the email-log page even though I have been able to send and thus receive an email on a test email account on a different domain.

Thank you

I checked the spam folder, nothing there.
I've installed the email-log plugin and it shows no logs.
Strangely now newly registered users don't get the email with the password any more.
They do receive a mailchimp opt in email though. And they do appear as new users in the user list.

Did you check the spam folder?

You could try this plugin to log the emails that go out: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/email-log/

Any suggestions?
