everything went fine finally !!
After I received the SMTP data to setup, the plugin does its job and confirmation emails are sent.

I assumed already, that this couldnt be a major problem.

So, the log says emails are sent.
Now I am waiting on input by my client for the SMTP setup data.

On my development server I am not using SMTP, so this will solve the problem a 99% sure.
I will get back to You.

Please install the EMail Log plugin and see if the emails are actually being sent by WordPress/s2Member. If they are being sent but not received, then please install and configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin with the SMTP server details for the email address you have configured as the "From" address.

It seems that the admin email must be an email from the same domain.

I cannot update s2member because individual development, that works together with some functions of s2member roles.

But if I would know about the fix, I could try to implement it.

I hope anybody can help me out, because I find it way confusing now.

I have a website on a development server (web) and everything is functioning fine.
Useres register, get the email and do what they are supposed to do after logging in.

Now I transferred to the clients domain and it wont send out emails anymore, when new members registered.
What Do I hav to look for?

Im using the standard version.
