This is a security measure.

based on the instructions i have included the pdf files in the /plugins/s2member-files subdirectory. The only twist is that the are in subdirectories within the s2member-files directory.

Starting with the example, ?s2member_file_download=example-file.zip, i have tried both just the file name as well as the subdirectory filename.

for example, using the link--

?s2member_file_download=sample.pdf

as well as

?s2member_file_download=library/sample.pdf [with library being the subdirectory w/in s2member-files]

is my link incorrect?

if not, any thoughts on why it is not working.

UPDATE. i forget to include the error, which is

503: Sorry, file downloads are NOT enabled yet. Please contact Support for assistance. If you are the site owner, please configure `s2Member -> Download Options`.

do i need to do anything else to configure download options?

thanks.
