~ and thanks for bringing this to my attention Cristián.

This is a bug with s2Member, thanks for pointing this out.
<%%payer_email%%> should be coded into the panel as: <%%payer_email%%>
( I'm having this fixed in s2Member v3.6 ) Until then, this doesn't hurt anything, it only affects the display of that default field value in the options panel. Again, thanks for reporting this!

I doubt the setting is affected, but I'll show it to Jason, thanks for letting us know.

Have you ran any tests to see if the email gets sent as it should per that setting?

Attached are the 2 screenshots. The first is from an iMac computer (Firefox 3.6) The second is from an iPad.

Note that <%%payer_email%%> is missing from the example line in the iPad screenshot.

However, my colleague was viewing it on his iPad and I was on a computer. Later he compared the same panel on his iPad vs his computer - and they WERE different! The examples in the gray box were as I described in my original posting on this topic.

Yes, the angle bracket would cause the address to not work properly. Let us know in the other thread if that solves that problem for you.

Regarding the differences you saw between your two confirmation email settings, were you both looking at the same panel? Notice that with s2Member Pro there are two similar panels: Signup Confirmation Email (Standard) and Signup Confirmation Email (Pro Form).

In Paypal Options/Signup confirmation Recipients there is a gray box showing examples. On my computer the gray box shows:

This is a semicolon ( ; ) delimited list of Recipients. Here is an example:
"%%full_name%%" <%%payer_email%%>; admin@example.com; "Webmaster" <webmaster@example.com>

On his computer it shows:
This is a semicolon ( ; ) delimited list of Recipients. Here is an example:
"%%full_name%%" ; admin@example.com; "Webmaster" <webmaster@example.com>

Notice that <%%payer_email%%> is missing on his computer screen.

Why would that be? We were both logged in at the same time, looking at the same page.

In another thread I had posted problems with getting confirmation emails and having people added to aweber. I did find an angle bracket missing in the box where I set up the recipients. I fixed it.

It's set up for confirmation to go to the payer, and notification to me and my colleague - thus 3 email addresses. Is this the correct syntax?
"%%full_name%%" <%%payer_email%%>; "Pauline" <paulinewallinphd@thepracticeinstitute.com>; "Jeff" <jeffzimmermanphd@thepracticeinstitute.com>

Thanks.
