Copy the HTML for the form in that page and paste it in your new page to customize it.

Do a test to see what the email sent says, you may need to customize that too. There are some plugins that let you customize the emails WP sends, maybe you'll find one that lets you edit that particular email.

If you enter a password in the password field of the CSV you'll import, then you'll know the password and be able to email it to them to login the first time and change it. It just seems so much simpler for everyone, and secure, to ask them to use the "lost password" form to reset it. You're still asking them to change it in their profiles if you give them a password first, so it's not like you're asking them to do more one way or the other.

And upon their first login I need to show a msg asking them to change their default password.

Whats that MailChimp (in "s2Member API / List Servers")? Never used it, do you think I can use it to get my requirements catered?

Thanks
Nad

Actually I sort of want to welcome them to the site as its the first time they get to know about their club website (never had a website before). Its sort of inappropriate way to welcome the members by directing them to lost password page isn't it.

Isn't there a way I can send them the system generated password with their username, with a welcome message? There will be some 600 something users.

Thanks heaps
Nad

You can email all those names letting them know about their new account and give them a link to the form used when they lose the password, so they can enter their email address and have a new one generated to login.

I'm just starting to use s2Member Pro and want to import about 600 members from a club to the website. They do not have existing accounts. Accounts will be creating apon the import.

I know if i leave ID field and password field blank (on the CSV) new user created with system generated password. My question is then how can I inform them that they have account on the website and their username and password to login in an Email.

And I want them to change their password on their first visit to the site.

Your quick response is much much appreciated

Thank you
Nad
