I'm not very familiar with BuddyPress, though, so I'll wait for another user to help you with that. Or you can try the BuddyPress forums, I guess someone there will know.

It specified that open registration had to be off, and mine is on. Also I've sorted out the <a href> problem (fat finger syndrome!)
But ... I do still have a help request...
I would like to include a link to my Membership Options page within register.php Is this possible for a rookie, or would I need professional help?
Thank you in anticipation... Now where's that G&T?

I have trawled through the forum and although I have found some very helpful posts, I can't find a specific answer to my problem...

I have open registration allowed (level 0) and users can register via the Top Nav sign-up (buddypress) which directs them to http://www.mysite.com/register. However this link provides free access ONLY. I would like the user to also see that they can subscribe as a Premium Member as well maybe by adding a link in register.php to the Membership Options page, but although I could do this with html, I'm no php-er and am at a loss here.

Alternatively, I could make the Top Nav sign-up automatically link to the Membership Options page (http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=653&p=2824&hilit=buddypress+signup#p2824) and then have a link somehow within this page to Free Membership sign-up using the buddypress create an account? But the buddypress create an account IS register.php, so how would this work? what would the <a href> be?

Added to this, I have had a problem with my Membership Options page. For some reason its not rendering properly when I switch between Visual and Html, it seems to get stuck on Visual, or when it does change to Html renders all the code as a lump with no line breaks, which is difficult to read. And somehow the <a href>s are not showing up on the previewed (or published) page!? Is this a bug?

I have been going round and round in circles and my brain is becoming addled! Could really do with some advice please (and probably a large G&T!) :?
