Revoke Specific Post Access

Postby mweichert » June 11th, 2011, 10:08 am

Hello,

Several questions related to specific post functionality:

1) What happens (technically) when a refund is issued from PayPal for specific post purchasers?
2) Are SP purchasers stored somewhere in the DB?
3) Is there any means of revoking access for a specific post purchaser? I would think that manually generated access links would have to be treated differently as well.

Thanks,
Mike

These are all great questions. I can answer the 2nd one: no, you'd check your PayPal history for that. I'm emailing Jason about the rest.

Thanks for the excellent questions.
Sorry, no. s2Member deals mostly with Membership Level Access, and Specific Post/Page Access Links ( at this time, v110606 ), are 100% self-contained. That is, there is no way to revoke access. However, you can limit the amount of time they are good for. This can be accomplished whenever you generate a Specific Post/Page Button and/or Pro Form Shortcode.

We'll try to improve upon this in a future release.
