S2Member and Shopping Cart Discounts

Looking for some help or advice on trying to utilize S2M levels to set specific discount rates in my shopping cart for members of a certain level. I am using WP-eCommerce as the store and my client sells products there. He wants to use S2M for obtaining general subscription level revenue AND also provide different level discounts on the products in his eCommerce store.

Is there a way to do this using S2M ( I don't want to set up pages of duplicated products with 4 discount levels and restrict access that way. ). As a workaround of course coupons set to different discount levels could be used however what I would prefer is that the SHOPPING CART of the WP-eCommerce ( or some other decent WP Store) interfaces with S2 such that by virtue of the member being logged in, the system would know what level they are at and automatically apply the discount in the shopping cart associated with the S2M level they are at.

Any suggestions from anyone on the best approach to accomplish this short of providing coupon codes??

Sure, sounds interesting. I'd look at editing the checkout process so it checks what level the user's account is, and apply the discount based on that. These may be helpful: Wp Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> Using Advanced Conditionals and s2Member PHP/API Constants.
