Can I make protected content invisible?

I already tried searching through this forum for answers but can't find any threads or posts that specifically answers my question.

What I want know is: using your membership plugin, is there a way I can make protected content (pages/posts/categories) invisible to either anonymous visitors or logged in members not authorized to view that content?

Need your answer quickly. I just got burned using a paid plugin that turned out to not have this feature. Anonymous site visitors and logged in members could still see the titles of protected pages and posts (but couldn't read the full post).

I want them completely invisible except to members with the right access (or the top membership level with full access).

With the Alternative Views Protection set to "YES" you can make your restricted posts not even show up in listings for the homepage, category, tag or searches. WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Alternative Views Protection

Pages, though, would show in the navigation by default, but you can use another plugin to prevent this. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exclude-pages/

You can test these things with the free version of s2Member and see if it does what you need. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/s2member/

I hope it helps. :)

Cristian,

Thanks for the swift response! I'm so happy this can be done with the plugin. I'm going to try it out ASAP!

Thanks again!
