Paypal in the wrong language

I'm working on this website which has a course in learning swedish...

http://speakswedishstupid.com/24-week-course/

When clicking the paypal button everything works fine as long as the person already has a paypal account and been logged in using the same browser on the same computer.

BUT, if the person is using a different computer or needs to sign up for a new paypal account, the instructions on the paypal website is in SWEDISH.

I thought it was just for me (I am in Sweden), but it turns out it is like this wherever you are in the world. It might be because of the bank connected to paypal is located in Sweden.

Since people might not know swedish before actually learning it, this makes them uncomfortable and not wanting to sign up ... they could switch the language to english further down, but how could they know??

The prefered language settings in paypal is set to english.

Does anyone recognize this problem? Anyone who knows how to fix it?
Is this problem because of s2member or paypal? (I'm guessing paypal, but want to check before trying to contact them)

FYI: at first my wordpress installation was in swedish but i switched to english and the problem is still there.

Thank you

Malin

Hi Malin.

Have you tried specifying the PayPal language in your button's shortcode? WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Buttons -> Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -> lc = Locale Code

The code for Sweden is SE. https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd= ... ntry_codes

I hope that helps. :)

And I must add, that I hadn't upgraded s2member to the latest version either, so I couldn't find "lc" in the one I had..
