S 2 Member login

Hello

I have the free S2 Member plugin through Wordpress and have had it installed for a few months now, however I have gone to my login page and found that neither my password nor username works anymore and furthermore I attempted to retrieve the login information and it won't let me do so. What can I do to get access and uninstall the plugin and then get the pro version of this plugin?

I need access to my site to do updates and page additions and time is of the utmost importance concerning this issue. Please advise

The login is not handled or changed by s2Member. Have you done something to your blog right before you started having that problem? Do others users have trouble logging in?

At this moment there are no other users and I am thankful for that. When I go to retrieve the password it tells me that my email is not recognized or in the database.

And that's with the admin account? Sounds really weird. Have you checked the database to see if the account is there?

If you don't have other users and the website is new, you may want to re-install WordPress.

Yes the database has the record right with my email address. This is why I am poking around endeavoring to find an answer. This has me stumped. I heard that there are problems with so called plugins that have been I believe they said in one email I got today with someone cloning the plugins and then setting them with a virus or hook of some sort, but that is all I know about that.

Well, you could access the website via FTP and delete the plugins in /wp-content/plugins/.

not yet but it would be nice if it did. I kind of like the way the system is set up.
