your username and password email

anyone knows where's this email coming from and where can I deactivate it? I finally made the s2member plugin work but I'd like the password to be sent from the mailchimp confirmation (otherwise I'm duplicating information :( )

it says something like

Subject: [Synergia | Cultural Insight and Strategy] Your username and password

Username: dlopez
Password: 3***********
http://www.synergiainsight.com/feature/wp-login.php

thanks :)

It might be sent from s2Member -> PayPal Options ... there's a "Signup Confirmation Email (Standard)" and "(Pro Form)" ... is that what you were looking for? If not, there might be a couple of other possibilities. Good luck!

Thanks Bob, but those emails are not the ones he means with the login info. The new user email is sent by WordPress on account creation, not s2Member.

I don't know how you'd make the account information be sent via MailChimp.

You can, though, edit the email with this plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ne ... il-set-up/

To disable it, you could try this one, but I don't know if it'll work with the latest WP, and you'd then the user would not get the login info for his account (which may not be a problem if he entered the values during registration). http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dis ... ion-email/

thank you.
well, I just created a merge field called password and I send that via mailchimp, then I can use that field in the confirmation email from mailchimp

however...the client just change the petition ¬¬ and now it wants the WP mail to be send and the mailchimp mails to NOT be send
