I am struggling trying to get my site, http://coffeeshopsforsale.net, to work properly.

I'm using S2 Member with 'another wordpress classifieds plugin, and I'm trying to allow a select group of member to view the classified ads. Another group can place ads but not view them, only those who pay can view the ads.

It's not working out that way, because nobody can view the ads, not even me when I'm logged in as the admin.

I am using only pages on the site, not posts, and I am using 'Page Access restrictions' to control who sees what, but even though I have allowed Level 2 or higher to view the browse and search ads pages, nobody can view the individual classified ads. I have not restricted those in any way.

I would not mind providing a login to someone allowing them to poke around on my site if you think you can offer some help with this, because I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Any and all help appreciated in advance.

Could you tell me how the classifieds plugin works? Do you use shortcode in a WP page? I'm not familiar with the plugin.

Yes, the shortcode on the "Show Ads" page (ID=8) is [AWPCPSHOWAD]

I have allowed my Group 1 and higher access to Page ID 8, as well as to the "Browse Ads" and "Search Ads" pages. I can access those if I am logged in as a Group 1 or higher, but not the individual ads.

Well, I tried loading that page and it sent me to the Membership Options Page and the variable shows it's requiring Level 1, so it seems to be working properly. http://coffeeshopsforsale.net/sell-coff ... evel_req=1

Did you log out before testing if you could access the page?

I can get to the membership options page, and I can access the Browse Ads and Search Ads pages, but I can't view the individual classified ads, no matter how I am logged in.

I have logged in as all different level users and as the admin, and still I can't view the individual ads.

Ah, ok. So the page you were showing me is one you want to see but can't?

It's very strange that you can't see it logged in as an admin, since s2Member doesn't restrict access from admins.

Could you post a screenshot of your WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options page with all the panels expanded?

If you remove the access restriction at level 1 using the s2Member box in the corner of the edit page, can you then view the page without problem?

Yes, when I removed the access restriction, I can view the page.

Well now, this is weird. It's working right now. After I removed the page restrictions and saved it, I went back in and put the page restriction back on, and now I can view the page properly when I am logged in, but not when I am logged out, which is just the way I want it. Not sure why taking the page restriction off an then putting it back on again would work, but it did.
