Where are transaction logs?

Postby JeffStarr » June 26th, 2011, 7:29 pm

Hello!

Everything is working great so far, but now I'm wondering where I might find a list of transactions.

For example, a page in the Admin that displays basics like username, order item, date, and maybe a few other details like shipping address, etc.

Anything like that? I know there's got to be some way of viewing a summary of transactions from the WP Admin, but so far its location escapes me.

Thanks again :)

No, s2Member doesn't have that at the moment, that feature has been left to the gateway for now. So you can go to PayPal and look at the transactions there.

s2Member does keep logs if you enable logging WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> PayPal Account Details -> Enable Logging Routines. The logs are located here /wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs/

Does that help?

It's a suitable workaround, but even a simple transaction log in the WP Admin that shows basic user data along with name/date of purchase and maybe a custom field or two would be so much better than having to log into PayPal every time. Just sayin' ;)

Yeah, and I agree. This is something that's planned, just not there yet. Thanks for the input. :)

I would be willing to pay for a script that does this. Is it possible?
